Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 July 2026
The short version. MySC is a VPN. We do not log or monitor your online activity — not the sites you visit, your DNS queries, or the content of your traffic. We never sell, rent, or trade your data. We collect only the minimum needed to run the service, manage your subscription, and prevent abuse.

This Privacy Policy explains how MySC ("MySC", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the MySC mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy. MySC is operated by FOP Zaikin Dmytro (Individual Entrepreneur Dmytro Zaikin), a sole proprietor registered in Ukraine, who is the data controller for the limited information described below.

1. Our privacy commitment

Because MySC is a VPN that carries your internet traffic, we take special care with your privacy:

2. Information we collect

a) Device identifier

We generate a hashed device identifier derived from a hardware identifier on your device. It is a one-way, irreversible value that does not reveal your hardware ID or identify you personally. We use it to link your device to your trial or subscription and to prevent abuse (for example, repeatedly claiming a free trial).

b) Subscription & purchase information

When you start a trial or subscribe, the transaction is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive a purchase token or receipt so we can verify that your subscription is valid and provide the Service. We do not receive or store your payment card details — those are handled entirely by the app store.

c) Connection & usage data

To keep the Service reliable and fair, we may process a limited amount of operational data such as the total amount of data (bytes) transferred by your account and the timestamp of your most recent connection. This is used for capacity, fair-use limits, and abuse prevention. It does not include the content, destinations, or history of your traffic.

d) Diagnostic data

The app keeps a technical diagnostic log on your device to help troubleshoot connection problems. This stays on your device and is only shared with us if you choose to send it to support.

e) Support communications

If you contact us (for example by email), we receive the information you provide, such as your email address and the contents of your message, so we can respond.

3. How we use information

4. Legal bases (for users in the EU/EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR (or equivalent) applies, we process data on the basis of: performance of a contract (to deliver the Service you subscribe to), our legitimate interests (to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse), and consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. How information is shared

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

Our optional community channel (Telegram) is operated by a third party under its own privacy policy; joining it is entirely voluntary.

6. Data retention

We keep your device identifier and subscription records for as long as your account is active and for a limited period afterwards as needed for billing, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Operational data is kept only as long as necessary for those purposes, then deleted or aggregated.

7. Your rights & data deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, or to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights — including deleting the data associated with your device — email us at rearrearerror@gmail.com and we will action your request. Note that cancelling a subscription is done through your app store; deleting your data does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already charged.

8. Security

All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. International transfers

Our servers are located in the European Union and the United States. When you connect, your traffic egresses from the region you (or the app's automatic selection) choose. Any personal data we hold may be processed in these locations with appropriate safeguards.

10. Children

MySC is not directed to children and is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the Service, contact us and we will remove the associated data.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Policy.

12. Contact us

For any privacy question or request, contact the MySC privacy team at rearrearerror@gmail.com.
